Rabbi Steve Wernick, the CEO of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism has lashed out at war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu over his comments on the Kotel deal this week.

Earlier this week Netanyahu claimed that “ideological elements” were delaying the upgrading the site, and is now freezing the Western Wall agreement of 2016.

Earlier this week Netanyahu said “the 2016 decision wasn’t to create a prayer space, it was to improve the existing space. We are moving forward with construction to do just that.”

Rabbi Steve Wernick has accused the PM of lying.

“What he said is not fact. The ideological issues were the whole reason for the negotiations over the agreement. We didn’t need four years of negotiations just to make physical upgrades [to the existing site]. The government could have gone ahead with physical upgrades without a government resolution.”
